The Student Council Association (SCA) meets twice a month before school. On behalf of the student body, we work closely with the administration and the teacher sponsors to plan events for students.  The SCA also plans many community oriented projects which in the past have included: collecting food for the Baltimore Food Bank, selling chocolate Hershey Kisses for the Johns Hopkins Children’s Fund, collecting supplies for local animal shelters, collecting clothing, mittens, and hats for donation to various homeless shelters, and planting trees at Riderwood to help preserve the Chesapeake Bay.  The association is run by student elected officers and homeroom representatives in grades 1-5.
